Respite Outreach Care for Kansans Organization, Inc. - or ROCKO - is a nonprofit organization providing caregivers a break from ongoing care demands to rest, refresh and recharge. Caregiving is an issue that touches most of us at some point in our lives - the need to provide care for a loved one who cannot care for him or herself. For some families, caregiving may involve a child with a developmental or physical disability, while for others it may involve an aging parent with Alzheimer's disease or increasing physical debilitation.

ROCKO is leading a movement to expand an innovative and comprehensive respite care network throughout Sedgwick and Butler Counties. Short-term skilled care is combined with recreational therapy to offer diverse opportunities for fun, socialization and community involvement.
